THE TOP 5 COUNTRIES I WOULD LOVE TO VISIT

Just because travelling to different countries is a beautiful way of escaping from one's own space and putting on the armor of adventure. These are the top five countries I would love to visit someday in no particular order.

1. SOUTH AFRICA

If there is one thing the government of South Africa is doing right, it has to be investing thoroughly in their tourism sector. The tourism arm of South Africa has sponsored a lot of Nigerian Celebrities alongside bloggers and Youtubers and were also top partners during the highly publicized wedding between Nigerian Musician, Banky W and Adesua Etomi. A land filled with beautiful animals and landscapes as well as a well- represented culture, South Africa is assuredly one place I would love to visit some day. They have also produced great talents in the music industry such as the Soweto Gospel Choir, AKA, Nasty C and a bunch of others. They were also one of the few represented cultures in the blockbuster, BLACK PANTHER. Now, tell me why you wouldn't add South Africa to your wish-list?

2. AMERICA

A home of bliss and beauty and apparently one of the world powers, America is a place everyone should plan to visit during their lifetime. Aside from the fact that Americans have a very beautiful accent and their streets and roads are just one to kill for, America seems like a very fun place to be. Having invested in their movie sector with the widely popular Hollywood, they portray themselves as a very lively set of people who would be happy to receive and welcome people of other countries. Having watched movies like Suits, Empire, Baby Daddy, The Wolf of Wall Street and a host of others, I can't just wait to step my foot into this land flowing with milk and honey!

3. LONDON

There is something so beautiful about the buildings in London. The architecture and designs which are very similar to many ancient buildings in my country, Nigeria. Perhaps the similarities stem from the fact that they once colonized us which brought about the epic line used by Shuri in Black Panther. I totally love the British accent and I have come to realize that London is like a second home to Nigerians because probably almost 50% of Nigerians living abroad are actually living in London. I love some of the movies that stem from their mother-continent such as Merlin, Me and You as well as a host of others. I would love to walk down the beautiful streets of London someday.

4. CHINA

I've never for once been a fan of China or the Chinese people until I started following a Chinese account on Instagram. Talk about the power of the internet! Also, one of my friends, Yemi, happened to return from China after a brief trip there and acknowledged that he enjoyed his stay there. From then on, I began to read about the country and helplessly fell in love with the people and the city itself. Aside from the fact that they have very amazing buildings and architectural designs, I also love the way they dress and communicate. I find them to be quite interesting people who are often excited and amused when they get in contact with Africans. I would love to visit them someday and have a taste of their food, experience their culture and visit some beautiful places there.

5. PARIS

The once much - talked about capital of France has now been pushed aside as places like Dubai have taken over and have become topmost priority on people's wish-list! But I can never forget this beautiful place. I love french people, their culture and importantly, their dressing. I feel they have an enviable fashion sense. I would therefore love to visit this beautiful place someday and see the Eiffel Tower, The Louvre, Notre Dame de Paris, the Disneyland in Paris and many more! And just because Emmanuel Macron, who is a young politician is now their president, France (Paris especially) is definitely goals!

Here we have it! My top 5 countries I would love to visit. Do you share the same ideas and wish with me? Or you have a differing opinion. I would love to hear from you!

P.S - How do you pronounce PARIS? Do you pronounce it without the S (pah-ree) or with the S (pah-ree-s)? It's becoming more confusing by the day!

  4. South Africa is also a must for me! I live in London, been to America (Atlanta, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Orlando), and often have to travel to Paris for work. As for me, I'd also like to visit Mauritius, The Maldives, Thailand and anywhere in the Caribbean.
